Competitions

We run a full schedule of competitions throughout the year all of which are scheduled in the Calendar page. Gents Competitions are generally scheduled for the w/e mostly on Sundays.

Ladies Competitions are usually on a Saturday mornings with a Monthly Midweek Medal run throughout the season.

We run a qualifying Stableford on most Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year.  These are for those wishing to maintain aWHS Handicap but are unable to play in the formal club competitions on a Sunday.

Ladies

Welcome to the Ladies Section

We are an enthusiastic, friendly group who enjoy our golf, both competitive and social and our Club offers us plenty of opportunities to participate in both types of play.

For members with a handicap, our main 18 hole competitions are held on a Saturday, usually in the morning. The following Monday is the alternate competition day for those who are unable to play on a Saturday. Entry is via the Pro Shop and a draw is made on a Friday.

Ladies are also welcome to play in the Club’s 18 hole stableford competitions which are held every Wednesday and Saturday. Members book their own tee times to take part in these more informal competitions.

Ladies can also play the Club’s Winter League. This is played in teams of four over 10 Sundays throughout the winter, so plenty of opportunities to play year-round golf at Eyemouth.

If you are new to the Club, we will make you feel welcome and help you to join in. If you just want to play social golf or are looking for someone to play with, just ask in the Pro Shop and Michael will provide some members’ contact details.

Seniors
We have an active Senior Section who play some 23 inter-club competitions against Golf Clubs from as far south as Dunstanburgh, North to Longniddry and in-land to St Boswells.  These are usually on a home and away basis.  Contact the Senior Captain Bill Wallace  if you are interested in playing.  You will be made most welcome.

Eyenooners
Eyenooners is the club name for a group of enthusiastic senior golfers who are also members of the Eyemouth Golf Club.  Competitive matches are played each week.  All senior players over the age of 60 are most welcome to join the Eyenooners, enjoy the company and compete in the competitions.  Contact Tony Carpenter or just turn up on any Tuesday morning around 10.00 am.  We are always looking for new members.

Juniors

There is a growing Junior Section at Eyemouth Golf Club. Remember that for all under 18 membership of the Golf Club is free other than £3.00 insurance. This is a great opportunity to encourage your young relatives to try this absorbing game, understand golf course etiquette and behaviour and also sample the friendly social nature of the Club.

To enquire about all aspects of Junior Golf at Eyemouth, contact the Pro Shop (01890 750004).

Dress Code

Eyemouth Golf Club endorses the traditional values in Golf; integrity, courtesy, consideration and respect for others. These values are mirrored in our Dress Code. We would like Members and Visitors to fully enjoy their game by being appropriately dressed on the Course and in the Clubhouse: ‘Smart Casual’ would be our aim.

In the interests of safety and comfort we strongly recommend that golf shoes be worn on the Course. Ultimately, we would like all players to be relaxed and to enjoy their golf and would request smart casual dress on the course.
